The Taiwan Code follows very closely the pre-1949 Republic of China Code.
Homosexual behaviour between consenting adults in private is legal where both
parties are over 16. (1983 "Report on Laws Governing Sexual Conduct"
of the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong). (It is assumed that there have
been no changes since 1983).
