Buried in a news brief in yesterday’s Globe is the heart-stopping news
that our steadfast ally, Saudi Arabia, has beheaded three men for
"committing homosexual acts" ("3 executed on charges of
homosexual acts," Page A3).
The Bush administration would prefer us to overlook the human rights
violations and atrocities that occur constantly in this stained, wretched
country on which we depend for fuel for our SUVs. Where is the outrage?
