Virginia Crime Commission Needs to Hear From You!

Equality Virginia, November 11, 2003
info@equalityvirginia.org

In response to this summer’s U.S. Supreme Court decision in “Lawrence v. Texas” finding all sodomy laws unconstitutional, Virginia’s Crime Commission is taking public comment on proposed revisions to the state’s “Crimes Against Nature” law.

Please write the chair of the Crime Commission, Del. Robert McDonnell, and urge them to not propose changes to the defunct law that may further stigmatize gay and lesbian Virginians.

The deadline for public comment is this Friday, November 14.

To send a free email to Del. McDonnell, go to Equality Virginia’s Advocacy Center.

Thank you for taking this important action for Equality!
