Past & Present Projects

GLAPN undertakes a variety of projects to support the preservation of queer history in the Pacific Northwest.

One such project was Portland walking tours featuring spots of LGBTQ historical interest.

Another was adding GLAPN projects to Portland State University's Capstone Program. In order to graduate from PSU, each student is required to participate in a Capstone community service program. Students may now choose to spend a term learning to archive collections for GLAPN/Oregon Historical Society, or gathering oral histories for the GLAPN archives.
